About Braşov f14-05
How to get to Braşov
Braşov is located in the central part of Romania and it is surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains.
The city is situated at 175 km north from Bucharest. The nearest airport is the International Otopeni Airport, located at 15 km from Bucharest, on the Bucharest-Braşov road. From Otopeni - Henri Coanda Airport, you can reach the center of Bucharest by minibus or by taxi (the latter, at a moderate price - about 10$). From Bucharest to Brasov we recommend the railway travel, about 2,5 hours, but also a minibus service is available from the front of railway station. See for details the webiste of the airport: http://www.bucharestairports.ro/otp/ and the website of the railway company: http://www.mersul-trenurilor.iturism.ro/bilete_tren_Bucuresti%20nord_Brasov_din_Seini.html
Anyway, to those interested in attending the conference, we will personally provide details, and for larger groups we will organize direct transportation by minibus from Otopeni Airport to Brasov.
