Finsler Prize is announced

Non-Commercial Foundation for Finsler Geometry Research and Moscow Bauman State Technical University established the Prize for the solution of the following problem:
“Construct a unified geometrical theory of the gravitational and electromagnetic fields on the base of the 4-dimensional Finsler space with the Berwald-Moor metric, or prove the impossibility of such theory”.
